Rob began his forestry career in 1969 working for the Department
of Lands and Forests in Smithers, B.C. He has been manager of
DFS since its inception 14 years ago.

Wayne is a graduate of
Selkirk College with a 2 year forestry diploma. He has been with
DFS since 1997. Prior to joining DFS he had completed three season
of work with Riverside Forest Products where he gained experience
in technical forestry.

Richard
Swanson, RPF
Richard has considerable experience with all aspects of Forest
Management. He was TFL forester for Slocan Forest Products in
Clearwater, B.C. prior to becoming a consulting forester for DFS.
He was involved in data gathering for the Old Growth Site Index
project over the two years that it was active. In addition he
has been involved in silviculture prescription data collection
and prescription development on a large scale over the past 5
years.
